United Way of the Virginia Peninsula
United Way connects critical needs of residents across nine localities with community resources that support health, stability, and well-being. Since launching in 2021, the Community Assistance Network (CAN) along with more than 150 nonprofit, faith-based, government, and corporate partners coordinate help with housing, food, and employment. Mobilizing more than $8 million in assistance for over 22,000 people in the last five years, CAN ensures local families can recover from hardship and improve family health. UNITED IS THE WAY no one faces hardship alone.
