What began in 1975 as a handful of volunteers serving a few individuals each week has grown into an all-volunteer force of more than 260 providing food, hygiene items, clothing, and basic houseware to residents in need. In 2025, FISH had 8,319 requests for support and offered 459,753 meal equivalents, 20,178 outfits of clothing, and 30,875 diapers to clients. During its 50+ years of operation, FISH continues to adapt to growing needs and expand beyond its core services through partnerships with local schools, motels, and community organizations to reach neighbors who may otherwise go without essential resources.
