The Virginia Peninsula Foodbank leads the effort to eliminate hunger by partnering with local agencies. In 2023, the foodbank distributed over 2.3 million meals to residents through local organizations, including: FISH, Inc., Grove Christian Outreach Center, The Salvation Army of Williamsburg, and Williamsburg House of Mercy.

Williamsburg Community Growers donates fresh produce from their Teaching Farm to community organizations serving low-income, uninsured, or underinsured individuals.
